The specific clients were looking for our help to completely transform their yard in order to create an oasis, an outdoor living space where they can relax and escape from the day to day bases.

A lot of work was involved in the design phase in order to incorporate all the items that the clients were looking for. Changes to the design were also made along the way in order to reach the desired look and style for these clients. This project involved:

• Multi-layer patio
• Walkways
• Front entrance
• Outdoor kitchen granite counters top, stand up bar and roof
• 18’x24′ pavilion with closed back wall for a fireplace and television, it also has infrared heaters to be able to enjoy the structure in the colder weather, a sound system and automated screens.
• A custom vinyl over steel pool with custom steel steps.
• Hot tub
• Retaining walls
• Water features
• Fire features
• Custom wooden fencing
• LED lighting
• Planting

We started the construction project late fall where we did the concrete forms and footings for the structures and also started on the multi-level patios. One of the biggest problems encountered would definitely be the swimming pool. This pool was added after most of the construction was done and not a lot of space was left. We only had one corner left to insert the pool. A steep slope was in that same corner which we cut back by adding an armour stone wall. We pushed the shed as close as possible to the retaining wall and were left with an area big enough to receive an 8’x14’ pool at the biggest. It’s not very big but it works!

This project for us is an award winner because it’s already a winner to the client’s eyes. We have reached all that was expected for them and more. All the key features are there but most importantly the work is extremely well done and the attention paid to the details is what makes this job an award winner.
